Renatta is a member of the Bambara Tribe, who reside near the Niger River in Mali,
The core of the Bambara tribes beliefs centers on family. Without each other they would not survive. Renatta is part of a large extended family. Along with her parents and 8 siblings, Renatta’s widowed Aunt and her 5 children, as well as 1set of grandparents live with them in their humble home.
Being the oldest Renatta has the responsibility of caring for her aging grandparents, as well as helping care for her younger brothers and sisters and cousins. She even finds time to assist her father with their crops, and go berry picking. |  |
 | Though she rarely has a spare moment for herself, Renatta manages to keep a positive out look on life. Her cheerful spirit and natural beauty are cherished among the rest of the tribe.

Doll Information: Renatta has been given a full facial repaint, using only quality paints and sealers. Her eyes are gold and brown. Her plump lips are a pale blood red. Her black hair has been wrapped in the traditional headscarf of her tribe. She is wearing a traditional African dress made by myself. She comes with the basket of berry’s (removable) that she balances on her head, and her custom made stand. Also includes a CERTIFICATE OF AUTHENTICITY! |  |
